OK, I'm full of 'em. Questions, questions, questions. Sometimes they're WS related...other times they're just about regular mommy issues...and still other times I may get existential, philosophical, or just plain...GIRLIE!! No matter what the case may be, I thought I should separate my questions from my posts...and so here we are!
Question: Were any of your children born with heart issues that healed and then came back later? Carriella was born with three holes in her heart and a pulmonary stenosis, both of which completely healed by the time she was 8 months old. Considering her diagnosis, we have to bring her back to the cardiologist. I'm nervous and was wondering what your experiences have been. As always, thank you!!!

Hi, healed and come back? No not so far. Avery was born with a mild/moderate VSD. Shortly thereafter they discovered her mold/moderate pulmonary stenosis. Shortly after that they saw her mild SVAS. This all happened under one yr of age. Since that time her VSD has closed, her pulmonary stenosis is now improved and termed mild to none, and her SVAS remains mild. I guess what I just learned yesterday, is that, sadly, you are never 100% out of the woods. See Penny's blog.
My best,
Amy
Same here. Nothing healed and come back. But Michaela's SVAS started as mild and has moved to moderate. She also has developed a new narrowing in the descending aorta, we found out this past Oct.
